Camino Real Estate (CRE) is a real estate investment company whose mission is to increase awareness and provide opportunities for Americans to get involved in real estate investing and gradually find their path to financial freedom. CRE was founded with the intentions to help American workers avoid the looming retirement crisis. According to the recent 2021 Social Security Trustees report, the program will only be able to pay out 78% of full benefits to retirees by 2034. The crisis will have devasting effects on retirees. The Social Security Administration has found that 1 of every 4 elderly households rely on social security for 90% of their income. The importance of having a diversified retirement portfolio is now front and center during these times of uncertainty. Diversification reduces volatility and portfolio fluctuations by spreading your net worth across multiple asset classes.

Approximately 71 million Millennials, the largest generation in the United States, prefers renting over homeownership. According to a 2017 CBRE study, “the homeownership rate among 25 to 29-year-olds was 31% in 2016 and 45% for 30 to 34-year-olds—levels that are well below the national average of 64%.”

Short-term leases give owners the ability to make immediate rent adjustments based on market conditions. More importantly, multifamily is seen as a hedge against inflation. Ricardo Ramirez is a founder and managing partner at Camino Real Estate. Ricardo graduated from Florida International University as a Nurse Anesthetist in 2015. After two years in the field, Ricardo and his family relocated to North Carolina where he worked for Duke University Hospital as a full time Nurse Anesthetist. Ricardo started his career in Real Estate after losing both his parents in a tragic car accident. His parents left him and his siblings three properties in Miami, FL. The following years would lead him and his siblings to undertake the renovation and successful flip of two of the properties. Having seen the power of real estate, Ricardo decided to venture into real estate investing with a goal of creating opportunities, like the one he encountered, for other families via real estate investing. Camino Real Estate was founded in 2020 as an investment company that specializes in creating opportunities for Americans to get involved in real estate investing and gradually find their path to financial freedom.
